Nikolaos Varsakelis
Nikolaos Varsakelis
holds a BA and a Ph.D. degree in Economics from Aristotle University, as well as a Master of Arts in Economics from McMaster University, Canada. Currently a full Professor in Industrial Policy at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, School of Economics. Vice- Rector of Finance, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (September 2014-August 2019) CEO, Company for the Development of Private Property of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki SA (September 2014-August 2019) Vice- Rector of Finance, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (September 2014-August 2019) CEO, Company for the Development of Private Property of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki SA (September 2014-August 2019) Member of the Research Committee of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (2010-2013) Member of the Committee for the Strategic Development of the Aristotle University (2010-2014). Director of the Laboratory of Economic Analysis and Policy of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (2009- 2013) Author of many journal research papers and book chapters on public administration, total quality management, and social innovation. He has also presented papers at national and international conferences.
