Nicole Luongo

Nicole Luongo is a Professor of Education at Saint Peter’s University in Jersey City, NJ. Currently, she is teaching graduate and undergraduate education courses in the Caulfield School of Education. Additionally, she serves as an academic advisor for students as well as a supervisor for clinical interns. Dr. Luongo has authored several anthologies, including The New K-12 Classroom: Teaching Reading and Language Arts in a Digital World (Second Edition) and The New World of Assessment: Teaching in a Digital World. Some of her recent peer-reviewed publications include: “Using Whiteboard Applications in the K-12 Mathematics Classroom”, “Preparing Tomorrow’s Teachers Using the Teacher Educator Technology Competencies (TETCs)”, and “Using Mobile Devices and Online Polling Software to Communicate in The Classroom”. Dr. Luongo is the certified Quality Matters (QM) Coordinator at Saint Peter's University and serves as a QM Peer Reviewer (Higher Education & K-12) and Master Reviewer (Higher Education & K-12). Dr. Luongo received her B.S. degree in elementary education from Bucknell University, her M.A. degree in education from Seton Hall University, and her Ed.D. degree in instructional technology and distance education from Nova Southeastern University.
