Nchedochukwu Clara Ikegbunam
Ikegbunam Nchedochukwu Clara
is a senior lecturer in the Department of Botany, Nnamdi Azikwe University Awka, Nigeria. She joined the services of the great institution in 2019 having spent some years lecturing and working on some academic research projects at University of Nigeria Nsukka in the Department of Plant Science and Biotechnology where she had her graduate and post graduate studies majoring today in Palynology/Palaeoecology. She is a multiple award winner being the best graduating student of the Faculty of Biological Sciences 2010-2011; best graduating student of the Department of Plant Science and Biotechnology 2010-2011; best graduating student of the Faculty of Biological Sciences Student Association (FOBSA). Dr Nchedochukwu was also rewarded by Anambra State Government for her excellent (firstclass) performance in her first degree. All these awards were in recognition of her outstanding academic performance while in the University. As a research practitioner, Dr Nchedochukwu has over twenty research publications expanded across the domain of geo palynology, melissopalynology, aeropalynology, ecology, taxonomy and general botany. She has demonstrated scholarship and competence in her area of research which includes; melissopalynology; aeropalynology; palaeoecology; and taxonomy. Many Nigerian students have passed through her supervision in their various academic projects. She is a professional member of Botanical Society of Nigeria (BOSON) and Palynological Association of Nigeria (PAN). Dr. Nchedochukwu remains very passionate, enthusiastic and highly committed and dedicated to the course of academic industry and education in general.
