Natia Surmanidze

Natia Surmanidze is an accomplished economist with expertise in institutional reforms and sustainable development. Holding a PhD in Economics from Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, she has made significant contributions to the field through her extensive research and publications. With a focus on topics such as small business empowerment, financial literacy, and green finance, Natia has authored numerous articles and chapters in esteemed journals and books. She has also presented her research findings at various international conferences, showcasing her dedication to advancing economic knowledge and addressing contemporary challenges. As a respected academic, Natia serves as an associate professor at The University of Georgia and Georgian International University, where she imparts her knowledge to the next generation of economists. In addition to her pedagogical roles, she is actively involved in quality management initiatives at The University of Georgia.
