Nancy P. Gallavan , PhD, is Professor Emerita at University of Central Arkansas, Per Course Instructor at Missouri State University, and Instructional Coach. Nancy’s expertise includes teacher education, classroom assessments, cultural competence, online teaching and learning, and social studies education. Nancy has authored and/or edited 200+ peer-reviewed publications, including 20+ books. Active in the Association of Teacher Educators (ATE), Nancy is Past President, Distinguished Member, Distinguished Mentor, and Distinguished Teacher Educator. Nancy has received awards for teaching, scholarship, service, and diversity and inclusion from UCA, UCA College of Education, the American Educational Research Association (AERA), and Kappa Delta Pi (KDP) as co-counselor and inaugural member of the KDP Eleanor Roosevelt Legacy Chapter.
