Namita Rajput

Namita Rajput has served as the Principal (OSD) at Sri Aurobindo College (Evening), University in Delhi for a term of 3 years and is a Professor of Commerce at Sri Aurobindo College. Having rich teaching experience of almost three decades, she has contributed tremendously in the area of research primarily focused on banking and finance, human resource management, sustainable development goals and gender. Over 200 conference proceedings and publications in a plethora of listed journals are credited to her name out of which over 70 are published in SCOPUS, ABDC (Australian Business Deans Council) and journals listed in UGC care. She has been invited as a delegate on numerous occasions, participated and presented papers in over 150 national and international seminars and invited for lectures in international universities. Furthermore, she has published over 33 books and contributed chapters to other respected publishers including Bloomsbury Publishing, Springer, Taxmann Publication, International Book House, Lambert Academic Publishing, etc., in over 25 volumes. She is actively involved in the arena of social welfare and has been working tirelessly for the upliftment of underprivileged people, children, women and other socially marginalised sections of society for the last 15 years through her NGO-UNHAD which is registered under NITI Ayog, Government of India. She is a staunch supporter of LGBTQ rights and is involved in several advocacy endeavours. She is the Lead auditor for quality standards ISO 9000 2015 and ISO 45,001 2018; was awarded twice by the Commissioner of Police, Delhi for conducting gender sensitisation workshops in slum schools. Actively conducting gender audits in different universities like Delhi University’s constituent colleges- Kalindi College and Moti Lal Nehru College, she actively conducts workshops and sensitisation programs to make educational institutions gender inclusive. She is a part of IQAC cluster NAAC Consulting highlighting gender audits and declaring a campus gender neutral. She is also empanelled in the Ministry of Women and Child Development as a POSH Trainer (Prevention of sexual harassment at workplace prevention Prohibition redressal Act, 2013). As a President of SuccessWorld1 Academy (India) working under the aegis of HRH Queen Nadia Harihiri (also Ambassador at Large, International Human Rights Commission), she has spearheaded many gender-based debates and events at the international level. Also, she was recently felicitated with Bharat Ratna Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan International Award of Honour, 2022 (Gender Sensitization Champion) for her efforts in narrowing gender gap.
