Muhammad Younus Ijaz
is a healthcare quality and patient safety leader with over a decade of experience advancing clinical outcomes, operational efficiency, and risk management. As Head of Quality Systems Improvement at New Mowasat Hospital, Kuwait, he has led initiatives towards improving diagnostic safety, outcomes of women undergoing Caesarean section, Performance measurement and clinical scorecards, system improvements such a point of care testing, Communication handoffs, digitalization of medical charts. A dentist by training, Dr. Ijaz earned his Bachelor’s degree from Jinnah Medical and Dental College, Pakistan, and completed his Master’s in Healthcare Quality and Patient Safety at Harvard Medical School.
