Muhammad Sarfraz
Muhammad Sarfraz
is an accomplished organic, materials, and computational medicinal chemist with expertise in synthetic organic chemistry, molecular recognition, molecular dynamics, drug screening, computational chemistry, natural products, green solvents, and synthetic heterocyclic compounds. He graduated from The Islamia University of Bahawalpur, where he later obtained his doctorate under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Abdul Rauf. During his academic and research journey, Dr. Sarfraz had the opportunity to work in the organic and medicinal chemistry laboratories of Prof. Paul A. Keller at the University of Wollongong, Wollongong, Australia, gaining valuable international exposure, during 2019-20. He began his professional career as a college lecturer and later joined The Islamia University of Bahawalpur as a lecturer of chemistry in August 2022. In 2024, he embarked on a postdoctoral fellowship at Shandong University of Technology, China, where he is currently working in the laboratory of Prof. Hailin Cong. His research contributions span multiple disciplines, significantly impacting the field of medicinal and computational chemistry.
