, S.Pd., M.T., is a dedicated academic and researcher currently serving as a permanent lecturer in the Electrical Engineering Education Program at the Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Negeri Makassar (UNM). Born on June 18, 1987, in Pinrang, South Sulawesi, Dr. Iswal pursued his undergraduate studies in Electrical Engineering Education at UNM, where he developed a strong foundation in technical education. He further advanced his expertise by completing a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering at Universitas Hasanuddin, where his focus on technical and applied engineering was deepened. Dr. Iswal earned his Doctorate in Education, specializing in Vocational Education with an emphasis on character formation and employability skills, areas that reflect his commitment to bridging technical education with holistic personal development. Throughout his career, Dr. Iswal has been actively involved in scholarly and practical initiatives aimed at enhancing education, particularly within the fields of vocational and technical training. His research interests include educational psychology, curriculum development for technical education, and the integration of character-building in vocational curricula to foster adaptable and industry-ready graduates. Dr. Iswal has contributed extensively to academic conferences and publications, sharing insights into youth development, human resource training, and innovative educational approaches that align with contemporary industry demands. His role as an educator and researcher positions him as a key figure in the advancement of technical education in Indonesia, emphasizing the importance of both technical proficiency and soft skills for future professionals.
