Monica Bhutani

Monica Bhutani is a distinguished academician, an Associate Professor in the Department of Electronics and Communication at Bharati Vidyapeeth's College of Engineering (BVCOE), New Delhi. With over 17 years of teaching experience, she holds leadership roles as the Head of IEEE BVCOE and Secretary for the IEEE SB DS Councillor’s Forum. Dr. Bhutani earned her Ph.D. from the Indian Institute of Technology, New Delhi, focusing on MAC layer issues in Optical Wireless Communication. Her extensive educational background includes an M.E. from NITTTER, Chandigarh, and a B.E. from M D University, Haryana. Besides her teaching responsibilities, Dr. Bhutani is actively involved in research, contributing significantly to Optical Wireless Communications, Visible Light Communications, Wireless Sensors, Machine Learning, and IoT. As the Head of IEEE BVCOE, she has played a crucial role in organizing events and activities to promote academic and professional growth among students. Dr. Bhutani's numerous awards, including the Best Researcher Award from BVCOE and a National Patent for the “Students Behavior Monitoring Device,” reflect her dedication and excellence in academia and research. Her comprehensive contributions make her a distinguished figure in Electronics and Communication Engineering, showcasing leadership, research prowess, and a commitment to student development.
