Mohd Noorulfakhri Yaacob
, a Senior Lecturer at Universiti Malaysia Perlis (UniMAP), is a renowned expert in information technology, system development, and biometric research. Born on September 1, 1981, in Malaysia, he holds a Ph.D. in Communication and Information Technology from UniMAP (2021), a Master’s in Information Technology from Universiti Utara Malaysia (2009), and a Bachelor’s in Computer Science from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (2003). With over 20 years of experience, Dr. Noorulfakhri has contributed significantly to system development, data center management, and national-level ICT projects. He has led the development of systems for the Ministry of Higher Education, including SUKIPT and ASEAN University Games. His research focuses on biometric authentication, particularly keystroke dynamics, with numerous publications in prestigious journals. A recipient of the I-RIA 2019 Silver Medal, Dr. Noorulfakhri is also a certified Professional Technologist (Ts.) and holds multiple IT certifications. Residing in Arau, Perlis, he is a dedicated academic, innovator, and family man committed to advancing technology and education.
