Mohd Afjal
is a Senior Assistant Professor of Finance and Economics at VIT Business School, an AACSB-accredited institution known for its academic rigor. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics, an MBA in Financial Management, and a PGDM from AMU Aligarh, India, and is UGC-NET certified in both Commerce and Economics. With over six years of teaching experience, Dr. Afjal has published 24 research papers in prestigious journals and has contributed significantly to the academic literature in areas such as Sustainable Finance, Corporate and Behavioural Finance, Energy Economics, Financial Econometrics, Blockchain, Cryptocurrency, and FinTech. His research further encompasses Time Series Analysis, Benchmarking, and Frontier Analysis. Dr. Afjal's teaching interests include Financial Management, Financial Economics, Security Analysis & Portfolio Management, Financial Derivatives, Financial Engineering, Risk Management, Financial Modelling, and Research Methodology. Proficient in statistical software like STATA, EVIEWS, R, SPSS, and DEAP, he skillfully integrates these tools into his teaching and research, enhancing the learning experience with data-driven insights.
