Mohammad Omar Faruq
, PhD, is a researcher and faculty in the Department of Accounting & Information Systems at Jagannath University, Bangladesh. Dr. Faruq has many years of teaching experience. He holds a Ph.D from the Department of Accounting & Information Systems, Jagannath University, Dhaka and a MBA and BBA from the Department of Accounting & Information Systems, University of Dhaka. His research interests are in the Financial Accounting, Cost and Management Accounting, Auditing, Financial Management, Accounting based on IASs/IFRSs, Accounting Theory, and Accounting Information Systems. He has published a pair of articles in various peer-reviewed journals.
