Mohamed Bouteraa
Dr
Mohamed Bouteraa
is a Senior Lecturer of Finance at the Faculty of Business - American University of Qatar. Previously, he was an Assistant Professor at the School of Business-University of Malaysia Sabah (UMS). With over 6 years of academic and research experience, Dr. Bouteraa has demonstrated expertise in both teaching and scholarly activities. He holds a Master’s and PhD in Finance and Banking from the highly QS Ranked and esteemed, AACSB/ EFMD/ AMBA/ IQA/MQA-accredited Northern University of Malaysia (UUM). His teaching portfolio includes extensive experience in developing and delivering undergraduate and postgraduate courses in finance and business management. Additionally, he is an active faculty member, contributing to various academic and administrative roles. Dr. Bouteraa’s research contributions are noteworthy, with numerous publications in top-quartile, Scopus- and Web of Science-indexed journals. His works have been featured in reputable publications such as the Journal of Marketing (Emerald), Journal of Sustainable Management (MIT), SAGE Open (SAGE), Journal of Open Innovation (Elsevier), Technology in Society (Elsevier), among others. He has also actively participated in and presented at international conferences. His research interests include sustainability (SDGs), green finance, FinTech, Islamic banking, and technology acceptance. Dr. Bouteraa currently serves on an editorial board and acts as a journal assessor for various indexed publishers. Additionally, he has been invited as a guest speaker to several conferences, webinars, seminars, and workshops, further solidifying his expertise and recognition within the academic and professional communities.
