Mitchell Roy Woodworth
Mitchell Woodworth
is a structural engineer with extensive experience in both consulting and contracting roles, currently working at Aecon Group Inc. in Calgary, Alberta. He holds a professional engineering designation (P.Eng) and is completing his MBA at the Haskayne School of Business, University of Calgary, with a focus on innovation and entrepreneurship. Mitchell’s work centers on integrating engineering and project delivery models to drive efficiency, knowledge retention, and technological advancement in large-scale infrastructure projects. His academic interests include strategic insourcing, digital transformation in construction, and the evolving role of in-house engineering teams in fostering innovation. He is actively involved in research and publication on these topics through his directed studies and applied industry projects.
