Min-Seok Choi

Min-Seok Choi is an Assistant Professor of Curriculum and Instruction at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. His research draws on ethnography and discourse analysis to explore multilingual family literacy, translanguaging, and culturally sustaining pedagogy in teacher education. He has published in journals such as Journal of Early Childhood Literacy and Linguistics and Education. With teaching and research experience in both the U.S. and South Korea, Dr. Choi supports preservice teachers in recognizing and building on the cultural and linguistic assets of diverse learners.
