Michael Moses Thiruthuvanathan
Michael Moses T
is a dedicated and highly accomplished Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at CHRIST University since 2013. He holds a Ph.D. from CHRIST University, specializing in Affective Computing for Improving Classroom Engagement through Deep Learning methodologies. Dr. Moses earned his M.Tech. in Software Engineering from Periyar Maniammai University and a B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from Anna University. In addition to his academic role, Dr. Moses plays a significant role as an NCC Officer for the Airwing, contributing to cadet training, leadership development, and aviation-related skills within the NCC program. His research contributions are widely recognized, with numerous journal articles and indexed book chapters in prestigious publications. Dr. Moses' expertise includes areas such as secure data sharing in cloud environments, multimodal emotional analysis using video summarization, IoT applications in smart mirror structures, and engagement detection through facial emotional recognition. He has presented his work at esteemed conferences organized by IEEE, and Springer and has published extensively in leading journals that have expertise in Multimedia Tools, Image processing, Deep learning, and Information Technology. Dr. Moses' research extends to areas like brain tumor detection, diabetic retinopathy diagnosis, emotional detection, Affective Computing, Student Engagement Detection, and stock market prediction using advanced deep-learning techniques.
