Michael Craig Melton

Michael C. Melton is currently Bath County Schools (KY) Superintendent. He has served as superintendent of the Elliott County and Lewis County Schools in Kentucky. His teaching area was Social Studies, Secondary Education and his doctoral research focused on Emotional Intelligence, Social Emotional Learning, and Trauma Informed Care. He also is a faculty member for the Kentucky Association of School Administrators Aspiring Superintendent and Superintendent programs. In his spare time he officiates college and high school sports and enjoys spending time with his family.
