Metin Celik
Metin Celik
is a Professor of Maritime Faculty at Istanbul Technical University and co-founder of Blueanalytica Maritime established in 2021. He published 5 book chapters, 70+ SCI/SSCI indexed journal papers (h-index 30; 2500+ citations in Wos/WoK) and 70+ international conference papers. He has conducting granted 18 different maritime research and technology projects. He has completed the supervision of 7 PhD dissertations and 12 MSc theses in the maritime era. Professor Celik has been featured among the World's Top 2% Scientists List, according to a Stanford University ranking study, published in 2020–2024. His main research topics include marine safety engineering, maritime skill transition, human reliability, compliance management, operation excellence.
