Melanie Muskin

Melanie Muskin received her M.A. in Human Development and Social Policy from Northwestern University, a M.A. in Organization and Leadership from Teachers College at Columbia University, and a B.A. in Cognitive Science from Vassar College. She began her career in education as a teacher and school leader in New York City where she developed a deep commitment to educator well-being and equity-driven educational policies. Melanie now writes and presents widely on issues related to teacher well-being, school leadership, and early childhood education. She coaches preservice teachers and is an active member of the American Educational Research Association's “Lives of Teachers” Special Interest Group.
