Mayra Urrea-Solano
Mayra Urrea-Solano
is a Lecturer in the Department of General Didactics and Specific Didactics of the Faculty of Education of the University of Alicante (Spain). She is graduated in Social Education and in Educational Psychology, and PhD in Educational Research. Coordinator of the Research Network on Design and Gender Opportunities in Higher Educationand member of the research group GIDU-EDUTIC/IN and the University Institute for Research on Gender Studies. Her lines of research focus on the study sustainable development, gender equality and leadership in Higher Education. In terms of scientific publications, she is the author of articles in high-impact journals (JCR and Scopus) and other works published in journals indexed in databases, such as Emerging Sources Citation Index (WOS), Academic Search Complete, ERA, Ulrich's Periodicals Directory, Ulrich's Periodicals Directory Sources Citation Index (WOS), Academic Search Complete, ERA or Ulrich's Periodicals Directory. She is also the author of more than 40 book chapters, some of them in high level publishers such as Springer or Peter Lang.
