Matthias Fischer
Matthias Fischer
has just finished his PhD at the Heidelberg University of Education in Science Education. His research interests include science education for marginalized students, school dropout, and homelessness in the classroom. In his doctoral thesis, he is particularly concerned with the quality of science education offered by street schools. At the beginning of 2025, he has started his teacher training in Germany to become a teacher for physics and mathematics. For this reason, he has recently started working at a high school in Heidelberg, Germany, called Englisches Institut.
