Marla J. Lohmann

|Marla Lohmann - Contributing Author|Dr. Marla J. Lohmann is an Associate Professor of Special Education at Colorado Christian University, where she teaches both special education alternative certification and master’s degree students in fully online programs. Dr. Lohmann is an active member of the Council for Exceptional Children Teacher Education Division (TED) at both the state and national levels. Dr. Lohmann is passionate about offering high quality teacher preparation and ongoing training for in-service teachers in the remote classroom. Dr. Lohmann has taught more than 100 asynchronous online graduate-level teacher education courses and is passionate about supporting community-building in the online classroom.
