Maria Theodoratou
Maria Theodoratou-Bekou
, Ph.D., is a Clinical Psychologist holding a doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Greece. Her academic journey commenced with a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy, Pedagogy, and Psychology from the University of Athens, followed by an additional Bachelor's degree in Psychology obtained in France. She furthered her education with a successful completion of a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology and Psychopathology at the University of Aix-Marseille I, Provence, France. With over 25 years of extensive experience, Maria has shared her expertise by serving as an Adjunct Lecturer in psychology at the Hellenic Open University, Greece, and Neapolis University of Pafos, Cyprus, since 2017. Her professional repertoire also includes work as a psychologist in the private sector. Despite her demanding professional commitments, Maria maintains a balanced life as a dedicated spouse and mother to two students.
