Maria Nieves Lorenzo Galés

Neus Lorenzo (PhD) is an Inspector of Education in Barcelona, Spain, for the Generalitat de Catalunya (Catalan government). She is former head of the Foreign Language Service in the Departament d’Ensenyament, the local Ministry of Education in Catalonia (Spain), and she has been a trainer and advisor for the Council of Europe, Anna Lindh Foundation, Jaume Bofill Foundaition ans other institutions. She has coordinated the Lifelong Learning Project of the European Union in Catalonia and has also represented the Spanish autonomies at the Education Committee of the European Parliament. Neus Lorenzo is an author and co-author of educational material and textbooks for Oxford University Press, Richmond-Santillana, Oceano, McGraw-Hill, and IGI-Global among others. Her areas of expertise include communication, language learning, digital learning, ICT, transmedia and transliteracy, Nemetics, organizational networking, educational assessment, international collaboration, and headmaster coaching. She is currently Co-Chair of the primary and pre-primary education Research and Development Community of Association for Teacher Education in Europe.
