María Lucía Barron Estrada

María Lucía Barrón Estrada is a professor and researcher in the PhD and MsC programs in Engineering and Computer Science at the Instituto Tecnológico de Culiacán in Mexico. She received a Master's degree in Computer Science from the Instituto Tecnológico de Toluca in 1990 and a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the Florida Institute of Technology in 2004. She is a member of the National System of Researchers, Level III. Her main research interests are mobile, web-based and hybrid learning. She also works on the implementation of authoring tools for intelligent tutoring systems and on programming languages. She is a regular member of AMEXCOMP (Mexican Academy of Computer Science).
