Majida Kazmi
DR.
Majida Kazmi
has an extensive experience in the field of Artificial Intelligence and Embedded Computer Vision. Currently, she serves as an Associate Professor at NED University of Engineering and Technology, Karachi, Pakistan, and also holds key research positions, including Co-Principal Investigator at the Neurocomputation Lab under the National Centre of Artificial Intelligence, Head of the Embedded Systems and Computer Vision Lab and founding director of Asma M Hashmi STEM Centre. Her contributions to AI and technology have earned her multiple prestigious awards, including the National Engineering Excellence Gold Medal 2025, House of Habib, Ali Suleman Habib 2nd and 3rd Engineering Excellence Awards (2023, 2024), and the National Engineering Excellence Award 2024, FPCCI Talent of Pakistan 2024 underscoring her dedication to innovation and educational leadership.
