Lyndon Batiste

Lyndon Batiste is an accomplished library and information professional with over 15 years of leadership experience across both public and academic library settings. He currently serves as the Head of User Services for Emory Libraries, where he plays a pivotal role in shaping user-centered service strategies and leading cross-functional teams. A recipient of the ALA Spectrum Scholarship and ARL’s Kaleidoscope Diversity Scholar Award, Lyndon has also been recognized as an ACRL Member of the Week and participated in the ALA Emerging Leaders Program and Harvard’s Leadership Institute for Academic Librarians. He holds degrees from Morehouse College, Beulah Heights University, and a Master of Library and Information Studies from the University of Alabama, where he is currently pursuing a PhD in Social Justice and Inclusion as a McNair Graduate Fellow.
