Luanne M. Amato

Luanne Amato currently serves as an Associate Professor at Holy Family University in Philadelphia, PA where she teaches quantitative subjects and concepts in management marketing. She holds a Doctor of Education degree in Curriculum, Teaching, and Learning from Northeastern University, Boston, MA and received an MBA in International Business from Rosemont College, Bryn Mawr, PA. Student engagement and best practices in instruction are the main focus of her research, presentations, and published works. Luanne has contributed three chapters to textbooks published by IGI Global Publications in The Handbook of Research on Active Learning; The Handbook of Research on Adult Education and the Development of Lifelong Learners and The Handbook of Research on Social Inequality and Education. She resides with her husband in Pennsylvania and has 5 children and 4 grandchildren.
