Liana Kalczuk

Liana Kalczuk holds a degree in Dentistry from Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho (1996), a master's degree in Dentistry from Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho (2002) and a PhD in Oral Biopathology from Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho (2005). Specialized in Temporomandibular Disorders (CROSP) and Implantology (DCTA). Has worked for 23 years in the Dentistry Division of the DCTA, having headed it for 9 years, having completed all career courses. and a Specialization course in Human Resources at FGV. Has basic and advanced courses in medical ozone therapy and applications, working in the clinic to treat wounds. She is currently deputy to the coordinator of the Bioengineering Laboratory at the Aeronautical Technological Institute, responsible for coordinating its military area and coordinator of the Bioengineering and DQBRN area at PPGAO/ITA, where she develops research projects in the line of military interest and support to the combatant, especially in the ozone line (water treatment for Field Hospitals, prevention of “trench feet and mouth” among military personnel during field exercises, effluent treatment, equipment for microbiological protection in Dentistry, among others). She is currently a Post-Doctoral researcher in Plasma Physics at ITA, ozone area. She also participates in white goods research projects, not defense, at the Laboratory (research on microbiological contaminants in fuel.
