Lawal Abdulwahab Olamilekan
Lawal Olamilekan Abdulwahab
is a dedicated scholar and educator, pursuing a PhD in Economics at Universiti Brunei Darussalam, an AACSB-accredited institution, under a fully funded scholarship. With a Master's degree in Health Economics and a Bachelor's degree in Economics Education from Taraba State University, Nigeria, his expertise spans natural resources, health, development, and macroeconomics. He has over six years of university-level teaching and research experience across Africa and Asia, having lectured at Accord University (Somalia), Unity University (Somaliland), and Peacock College of Education (Nigeria). At Universiti Brunei Darussalam, he tutors undergraduate students in the School of Business and Economics, while actively supervising postgraduate and undergraduate theses that have led to impactful publications and conference presentations. Lawal's research and academic contributions have been showcased at multiple international conferences in Nigeria, Indonesia, Portugal, Türkiye, India, and the United Arab Emirates. He is skilled in advanced data analysis using Stata, SPSS, EViews, and MS Excel, and impressively integrates AI-powered tools into research and education. His work reflects a commitment to bridging economic theory with policy-relevant solutions that enhance governance, healthcare financing, and sustainable development. He maintains an active academic presence through Google Scholar, Scopus, and ORCID and continues to contribute to global knowledge exchange through publications, mentorship, and collaborative research.
