Laura Siegl
Laura Siegl
is a Master’s student in Tourism Organizations Management at the Faculty of Economics of the University of Algarve in Faro, Portugal. Her research focuses on culinary, gastronomy, sustainable tourism and climate-conscious mobility, with a particular interest in behavioral responses to aviation emissions. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Tourism Management from Munich University of Applied Sciences and completed an exchange semester at the University of Wisconsin-Stout. Prior to her academic studies, she graduated from the Higher Institute of Tourism in Bludenz, Austria, with a diploma in Hospitality Management. Laura also brings over eight years of hands-on experience in the event and hospitality industries across Europe, including roles in catering, project management, and content marketing. Her international education and professional background have shaped a holistic and interdisciplinary perspective on tourism, sustainability, and innovation.
