Sampath Kumar L
, a distinguished writer and educator, began his academic journey with a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from SJMIT, Chitradurga, in 2008. He then earned a Master's degree in Engineering Analysis and Design at SDMCET, Dharwad, in 2011 and completed his Ph.D. in Nano Biomaterials with a focus on the Mechanical Stream from VTU Belagavi in 2023. He started his professional career as a Lecturer in the Mechanical Engineering Department at SIET, Tumakuru, from 2011 to 2013, and currently serves as an Assistant Professor in the Mechanical Engineering Department at Sir MVIT, Bengaluru, a role he has held since 2013. Dr. Kumar's research interests encompass Nano Biomaterials, Mechanical Characterization, and the green and chemical synthesis of nanomaterials. He has published 15 research papers in reputed journals and three patent publications. He authored the book “Beyond Boundaries: The World of Additive Manufacturing” (1st Edition), published by IIP Iterative International Publishers in 2024, with ISBN: 978-1-68576-470-8. Additionally, Dr. Kumar serves as a reviewer for Applied Nanoscience (APNA), a Springer Nature journal indexed in Scopus and listed in Q2 with an H-index of 80. His interdisciplinary approach and significant contributions to research and education make him an inspirational figure in academia, continuously advancing knowledge and innovation in his field.
