La Sunra

La Sunra , M.Hum, is a senior lecturer in the English Education Department at Universitas Negeri Makassar, Indonesia. He earned his doctoral degree in English Education from the Graduate School of Universitas Negeri Makassar. His research interests include reflective teaching, classroom interaction, formative assessment, EFL speaking pedagogy, and digital literacy in teacher education. Dr. La Sunra has published extensively in both national and international journals. His notable publications include studies on reflective practice, questioning strategies in microteaching, politeness strategies in online classrooms, critical thinking through reflective journals, and the impact of formative assessment on student motivation. His recent works explore project-based learning, differentiated instruction, and scaffolding in EFL settings, with articles appearing in journals such as Asian EFL Journal, International Journal of Language Education, ELT Worldwide, EduLine, Klasikal, and ELS Journal on Interdisciplinary Studies in Humanities. Beyond publishing, he actively serves as a facilitator and resource person in workshops on teaching strategies, classroom management, and educational innovation. With his dedication to advancing language education, Dr. La Sunra continues to contribute significantly to the professional development of pre-service and in-service English teachers in Indonesia.
