Kiara Padmore
Kiara Padmore
is a first-generation Caribbean American who received her BA in Psychology with a minor in Nutrition from Montclair State University. She is currently a research assistant in two psychology labs, working on projects surrounding the mental health of minoritized individuals. Kiara’s research interests include the psychological well-being of diverse populations, specifically Black women and Black sexual and gender minorities. She believes that psychology and culture are connected vastly and integrally. Kiara hopes to obtain her doctoral degree in clinical psychology and practice from a Black, feminist, decolonized framework.
