Khaled Ahmed Nagaty
Dr. Khaled Nagaty is a Professor of information science and the director of university eLearning at the British University in Egypt based in El Sherouk City. Professor Nagaty has published over 40 papers on different subjects including ecommerce and business intelligence. His Ph.D. in information science was published in the form of printed book by Lap Lambert in Germany, 2012. He is famous in the field of information science giving many invited papers at international meetings around the world. After obtaining B.Sc. Degree in statistics from the Cairo University in 1982, he started work at the information department (ID) in Cairo. During his time at the ID and later he continued his research in information science and obtaining his Ph.D. in 1999. Dr. Nagaty joined Ain Shams University in Egypt in 2000 as a lecturer of information science and continued his work in the field of ecommerce and business intelligence. In 2007, he promoted to Associate Professor in information science and in 2008 he moved to the British University in Egypt (BUE) at El Sherouk City where he was responsible for teaching information science and its applications in the field of ecommerce and business intelligence. In 2016, he was promoted to Professor in information science and currently he is a permanent Professor at the BUE in Egypt.
