Kenith B. Villaruel
Kenith B. Villaruel
is the Guidance Counselor II at the Guidance Services Center, Northern Iloilo State University-Barotac Viejo Campus. He earned his bachelor’s degree in nursing and master’s degree in Guidance and Counseling both from Central Philippine University, Iloilo City. He is an active member of various professional organizations including the Philippine Guidance and Counseling Association (PGCA) and as an international affiliate member of the American Psychological Association (APA). As a guidance counselor, his research is commonly focused on mental health, gender and development, positive education, bullying, student welfare, and program development. Aside from guidance work, he serves as an adjunct faculty member and an adviser to student organizations.
