Kendric D. Stewart
, PhD, is the Interim Vice President of Institutional Advancement at Dillard University. With a career spanning higher education, institutional advancement, and alumni relations, Dr. Stewart has successfully led initiatives in student retention, fundraising, and strategic planning. He previously served as Executive Director of Alumni Federation and Director of Alumni Affairs at Southern University, where he enhanced alumni engagement and secured significant philanthropic support. His research interests include student development, Black male retention in higher education, and community outreach. Dr. Stewart holds a Ph.D. in Urban Forestry and Natural Resources, a master’s in political science and a bachelor’s in urban forestry and natural resources from Southern University and A&M College.
