Kathryn Lemerich

Kathryn Lemerich Having spent the past 20 years in education and 12 years as an educational leader, Kathryn (Kate) Lemerich is committed to supporting educators in meeting the needs of every student, every day. Kate has served as principal, assistant principal, supervisor of mathematics and business, supervisor of STEM, mathematics coach/consultant, and mathematics teacher in school districts in New Jersey and Michigan. Her work and interests are centered around championing for all students, social-emotional learning, building a positive climate and culture, supporting the mental health and well-being of students and staff, best practices in educational leadership, and mathematics teaching and learning. Kate serves on the Executive Board of NJASCD, an organization dedicated to whole child education. She was named New Jersey's 'Sustainability Hero' by Sustainable Jersey in February 2025 and was the recipient of the Metuchen High School's Star Award for the Administrator of the Year in 2024. She was one of 46 educators in the world to be named an ASCD Emerging Leader in 2017. She also served as a Core Advocate with Student Achievement Partners and was selected to serve on the Standards Review and Assessment Review Committees with the New Jersey Department of Education in 2016, 2022, and 2024. Kate lives in New Jersey with her husband and two children.
