Kathleen Norris
Dr.
Kathleen Norris
brings over forty years of experience as an educator and leader, with a deep commitment to faculty engagement and building a strong Community of Care in higher education. Since joining Walden University in 2013, she has served as a committee chair and faculty member in educational leadership, while contributing to key university initiatives focused on equity, mental health, and student success. In 2023, she served as a contributing member of the faculty team that developed and implemented Walden’s three-phase dialogue series—centered on belonging, collegiality, and resilience—which aimed to strengthen community and connection among faculty in virtual settings. In recognition of her contributions, she received the 2023 Faculty Excellence Award from the Richard W. Riley College of Education and Human Sciences.
