K. M. Ashifa
K. M. Ashifa
holds a doctorate in social work and is currently employed as an assistant professor in the department of social work at Istanbul Gelisim University in Turkey. She has 16 years of experience, including 9 years as an academician, 4 years as a researcher, and 3 years as a human rights educator in the development sector. Additionally, she collaborated with Kalasalingam Academy of Research and Education in Tamil Nadu and Istanbul Nisantasi University in Turkey. From 2008 to 2011, she also served as the state coordinator for Kerala's Human Rights Education under the UN World Programme. She has two books on the subject of human rights education to her credit, along with 151 research papers to her credit that have been published in peer-reviewed, highly indexed journals as chapters in edited books. At national and international seminars and conferences, she has participated and delivered 35 research articles. Icon of India 2023 Icon of India 2023 for the contribution in Research and Development in Academic by Institute of Social Reforms and Higher Education Charitable trust and Savitha School of Management Indiances., The ASDF Global Research Award 2021, the Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Lifetime Achievement National Award2021 for Teaching, Research, and Publication, given by the International Institute for Social and Economic Reforms, and the Innovative Academic Research and Dedicated Teaching Faculty Award given by the Society of Engineers & Technicians, Malaysia, in 2017 are just a few of the accolades she has received for her dedication to research.
