Juan Vicente Izquierdo Soriano
PhD - Polytechnic University of Valencia.
I did my academic training at the Polytechnic University of Valencia (Engineering Technical Computing (step Degree of Computer Science at the UOC), Bachelor of Documentation).
I have been specializing in issues related elearning two universities nationwide pioneer in distance learning (UNED and UOC) and starting to develop practical projects on e-learning in health sciences.
In recent years I have made oral submissions at INFORMED 08 eSociety 09 EDULEARN11, CAFVIR12, MANAGEMENT CLINICA12, IRRSPAIN13, TEEM13, 2014 Expolearning with issues related training elearning in the healthcare environment.
I am doing research on health elearning in collaboration with Dr. Felix Buendia (Polytechnic University of Valencia), director of my doctoral thesis "Methodological approach for the implementation of eLearning technology in health training"
I use social networks (blogs, wikis, linkedin, twitter, facebook ...) daily in order to continue learning and to enable their use in the professional environment in which they work.
Professionally I led since February 2000 at the University Hospital of La Ribera, initially as outsourcing in the Systems Department, and since 2008 in the Department of Human Resources.
I have been part of the eLearn Center of the UOC research on topics related to virtual reality, next to Dr.Francesc Saigi.
