Joyce Kathleen Engel
Dr.
Joyce Engel
has a PhD (U of Alberta) in nursing, as well as a MEd (U of Calgary), BEd (U of Calgary), and a RN Diploma (Lethbridge). As a staff nurse in mental health and community settings, educator, researcher, leader, and administrator, interprofessional practice and programming have been significant components of her practice and as an educator, author, and researcher, ethics has been of particular interest. Currently, Dr. Engel is a project consultant in curriculum and evaluation and is also an adjunct professor at Brock University, where she was an assistant and then associate professor in nursing.
