Joshua Pate
Joshua R. Pate
is Dean of the School of Business and Management and Professor of Sport Management at Lees-McRae College, located in Banner Elk, NC., USA. His research is in disability, access, and inclusion through a sport lens. Pate serves as the Program Coordinator for Sport Management at Lees-McRae, teaching a variety of courses, advising students in their academic plans, and connecting students with internship opportunities. Pate has collaborated with universities, professional teams, and private and government agencies focusing on inclusive programming and leadership at the intersection of disability and sport. Pate received his Ph.D. in sport management from the University of Tennessee in 2012.
