Joseph Diamond
Joseph Diamond
is a PharmD candidate at the University of South Florida Taneja College of Pharmacy (USF TCOP) with a Bachelor of Science in Biology from North Carolina State University. Passionate about pharmaceutical innovation and community health, Joseph has led impactful initiatives and research projects. As Lead Student Ambassador for the Workgroup Enhancing Community Advocacy and Research Engagement (WE-CARE) Program, he educated the Tampa community on critical health issues and led different initiatives like a social media cancer awareness campaign and a drive-thru COVID-19 vaccination clinic. His research at USF includes implementing a standardized medication reconciliation tool to enhance patient safety and analyzing academic data to better support student progression. Joseph also served as Vice President of Membership for the Innovation Technology and Entrepreneurship in Health Care (ITEHC), leading its transition to the Industry Pharmacists Organization (IPhO). As a Student Delegate for USF TCOP, he contributed to the admissions committee and coordinated recruitment and school events. With experience as a Quality Governance and Strategy Intern at Johnson & Johnson, Joseph aims to bridge the gap between pharmaceutical innovation and patient care while advocating for community health and student development.
