José Manuel Aguilar Parra
José Manuel Aguilar-Parra
, is Associate Professor at the University of Almeria, in the area of Developmental and Educational Psychology. He completed his doctoral thesis on active ageing in 2012 and since then has published more than 200 articles of international impact (128 indexed in JCR) and some more in the first quartile according to SCOPUS and DICE. She has also contributed around a hundred communications to international and national conferences. He is currently supervising several doctoral theses (he has already supervised 16). In recent years he has written several books on different subjects for prestigious publishers of the SPI (e.g. Dykinson, McGraw Hill, Q1SPI). He has participated as a researcher in different European projects (Grundtvig, Leonardo da Vinci, Erasmus +; AAECID, etc.) and national and regional R+D+I projects. He has also been PI of Transfer projects. He has carried out different research stays (Seville, Lisbon, etc). Director of several FPU and FPI grants. He has two sexenios of research and three autonomic sections.
