José Manuel Vicente , Professor at Universidade Lusófona – Centro Universitário de Lisboa, ECEO – Department of Civil Aviation and Airports & Department of Economics and Management, since 2009. PhD in Management (University of Évora) – Research Line Aeronautical Management, Master in Management of Companies with Specialization in Marketing (University of Évora), Executive MBA in Air Transport/Civil Aviation Management (ULHT/INAC I.P./Cranfield University). Graduated in Management (NOVA School of Business and Economics, Lisbon). Participation in several National and International Congresses and has articles in the areas of Management, Aeronautics, Tourism, Education and Society, with Scopus indexing (Q1, Q2 and Q3), Journal of International Management, International Journal of Geoheritage and Parks, International Journal of Business Excellence, International Journal of Business Innovation and Research, International Journal of Knowledge Management in Tourism and Hospitality. Reviewer of International Journals and Member of the Scientific Board of the International Journal of Social Science and Innovative Technology. Member of Editorial Board of International Journal of Geoheritage and Parks (Scopus Q1 indexation). Researcher at CETRAD – Intrepid Lab, Porto. Member of ADEGI – Association for the Development of Global and Island Studies, Funchal, Madeira. Enthusiast of island studies of socio-economic analysis and development, related to impacts in the areas of tourism, mobility, infrastructure management, transport, sustainability, marketing, perception of quality, education and society. As a PhD student and beginning of his career as a researcher, he won the Researcher Award and public mention of Commendation. As a Researcher, he has participated in Research Projects with Funding (BPI Foundation/LaCaixa Awards, FFMS, and Erasmus+ Europe). Coordination and involvement in this project constitutes a dream come true in the face of an idea that does not currently exist in Madeira, and that through digital transformation, inclusion and exploration of a literary, cultural and humanistic segment, can improve the experience of these tourists, adding economic value to the Region.
