Jorge Remondes

Jorge Remondes has a PhD in Communication and MBA in Commercial Management and Marketing. Professor of Marketing at the Instituto Superior de Contabilidade e Administração (ISCAP) of the Instituto Politécnico do Porto. Previously, he taught at ISVOUGA, Universidade Lusófona do Porto, ISAG, Universidades Lusíada, ISMAI, IPAM, and ISMT. He has published several articles on communication and marketing, not only in scientific journals indexed in Web of Science, but also SCOPUS, and in technical journals in Portugal and abroad, as well as in the general and specialized press. He is editor of the International Journal of Marketing, Communication and New Media, a scientific journal indexed in the Web of Science and JCR. He has been a manager in both national groups (Grupo CRH and Grupo EGOR) and multinationals (IMCO and Grupo Vedior). He is a trainer of in-company courses, with a total of more than 13,000 hours of training and consultancy activity. He is regularly invited to speak at conferences, seminars, congresses and open classes. He is an Honorary Member of the European Higher Council of Doctors and Doctor Honoris Causa.
