João Marcelo Alves Macêdo
João Marcelo Macêdo
is a PhD in Accounting Sciences (UnB/UFPB/UFRN - 2017), Master in Accounting Sciences (UFPE - 2010), Specialist in Public Management and Auditing (IESP - 2009), Degree in Accounting Sciences (UFPB - Campus I - 2006). Law degree in progress (UNIPê). Currently Associate Professor I - T40 - DE at the Federal University of Paraíba - Campus IV - North Coast, where he is Coordinator of the Undergraduate Course in Accounting (re-elected until March/2026) and Permanent Professor of the Postgraduate Program in Public Management and International Cooperation. He is also a CRCPB Board Member (2022/2026 term) and a Board Member of Sicredi CREDUNI. He has experience in Administration and Higher Education, with an emphasis on Accounting, Cooperativism, Public Management and University Teaching. Professionally, he has experience in public management positions, having worked at EMATER-PB/Gov. of the State of Paraíba, at IDEP/UFPB, at the University Prefecture and in the advisory department of the UFPB rector's office. He is a member of the following research groups: GESFIN-Grupo de Estudos em Finanças and GEPEC - Grupo de Educação e Pesquisa em Contabilidade and is a member of LIM/UFPB - Laboratório de Interação e Mídia.
