Jennifer Roberts
Jennifer Roberts
is a lecturer in Education at the School of Social Sciences, Education and Social Work at Queen’s University Belfast. Jennifer is a trained teacher and has worked in Initial Teacher Education in Northern Ireland since 2016. She is currently the pathway convenor for PGCE English at QUB and her expertise is in developing ways to make learning accessible to all pupils in the classroom. Of particular interest are those who are at risk of academic underachievement. Her research interests are around pedagogy in the classroom, including initial teacher education and how best to equip candidates for the profession. Jennifer has led projects on inclusive practice, literacy, reading and program evaluation.
